About

Edric (Ed) Tam is a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University working with Barbara Engelhardt. He works at the intersection of Statistics and AI, with a strong focus on applications in business, economics and biomedicine. His postdoctoral research has been supported by a Warren Alpert Fellowship as well as a Croucher Postdoctoral fellowship.

He received his PhD in Statistical Science from Duke University with David Dunson, and holds degrees in Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering from Chicago, Yale and Johns Hopkins. His professional research and engineering experience include stints at Google, Meta, Amazon and Apple AIML.
